Counselling & Psychotherapy

We all experience difficulties at times we need a little help and support with. Counselling can offer a sympathetic outlet, help you deal with any negative thoughts and feelings, and help you to express your worries and concerns.

The terms counselling and psychotherapy are often interchangeable. In general terms however, counselling is typically to help with a specific difficulty or current problem, for example, a bereavement or a difficulty that is not necessarily rooted in the past.

Psychotherapy is more likely to help with more deep-rooted difficulties that affects a client’s life, for example, child abuse or trauma, and will often be a longer-term process.

At Neuro-Connections, an IACP accredited psychotherapist will discuss your circumstances with you, and assess what is suitable for your specific needs.
